Five years ago I planted these trees with a view to hiding the inside of the shed from my bedroom window.
I noticed this morning that they have flowered for the first time.
You can imagine my excitement at this, as I one day envisage a foray of pink flowers at this time of year to add colour to a very green garden.
I love colour, strong colour but you can't go past the gentleness of pink.
