Capturing our landscape

We've had Tracey, HTRS (Home Tutor Relief Service) here again this week, projects have been started and completed and school is out for the week.

A landscape photo shoot was high on the priority list. Tracey, the boys and I were armed with our cameras and Aeroguard as we set off through the timbered country, making our own track to get out to the marine plains.

Here are some of the images we have captured.

Oh yes, they took what was required and went about being kids again...

Not usual for a fence to be looking like this but the floods are to blame, until the water dissipates it will have to remain.

Goal: To learn so much more about my camera...

  1. Beautiful photos Trudy, the country is literally looking a picture isn't it. There is so much to learn about photography, yet so little time for just playing with it! Hope school's going well.

  2. School is going well Fiona, and yes the country has picked up everywhere but a bit slower than we all expected. Like every farmer some follow up would be lovely.

  3. Great pics Trude. We have those lily's too. Do you know what they are called? I have tried to transplant them without any luck.

  4. Claire I don't know what they are called, I should call my resident botanist! They are pretty. That was the only one I saw though, perhaps there aren't that many here.
